Sara Bancroft, DVM

Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology

Dr. Sara Bancroft grew up in Southern California and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of California, Irvine, in 2014. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Minnesota in 2018.

Following a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Minnesota, she completed a three-year dermatology residency at McKeever Dermatology, finishing in 2022. She is board certified and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2023.

Her professional interests include long-term management of allergies and other chronic skin conditions, with a focus on maintaining a strong human-animal bond. She is also proficient with the CO2 laser and enjoys incorporating video otoscopy to effectively diagnose and treat ear diseases.

Fun Facts:

Dr. Bancroft shares her home with her husband, daughter, bulldog mix Daisy, and cats Yolanda and Curie, along with many aquatic pets, including axolotls, fish, shrimp, and snails.

She enjoys tabletop games such as board games and Dungeons and Dragons. She also loves getting lost in a good book, native plant gardening, and traveling the world with her family.
