Melissa Loewinger, DVM

Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology

Dr. Melissa Loewinger earned her Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University in 2011, followed by her DVM from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2015. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group in Brooklyn, NY, then a year in private general practice in Queens, before completing a surgical specialty internship at the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center in Texas. After her time in Texas, Dr. Loewinger returned home to New Jersey and worked as an emergency veterinarian for several emergency and referral hospitals in NJ and NY.

Dr. Loewinger began her residency in the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in the summer of 2019.
