McKenna Snidow, DVM

Associate, Practice Limited to Dermatology

Dr. McKenna Snidow is a dedicated veterinary dermatologist with a strong commitment to excellent patient care. She was born and raised in Richmond, VA. In 2020, she received her DVM from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation from veterinary school, she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Alameda East in Denver. She then completed a specialty dermatology internship at Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center (VRCC), where her dedication to dermatology was solidified. A residency in dermatology at Colorado State University followed and was completed in the summer of 2025. Concurrently, she earned a Master of Science degree from CSU. Dr. Snidow’s research interests during her residency included treatment of Pseudomonas otitis and Phovia light therapy for resistant bacterial and yeast infections. She also has a strong interest in allergy management, otitis, and autoimmune skin diseases. Dr. Snidow is thrilled to join Animal Allergy and Dermatology as part of their esteemed dermatology team, where she is committed to prioritizing patient quality of life and delivering compassionate care.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Snidow is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys skiing, horseback riding, camping, and hiking with her husband and yellow lab, Riva.
