Hollie Heape, DVM

Dr. Hollie Heape grew up in Portland, OR, with a deep love for animals, particularly smush-faced/brachycephalic pets and small exotics. From a young age, she was captivated by their unique needs, which sparked her interest in veterinary dermatology. Dr. Heape earned a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University before attending the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduating, Dr. Heape began her career in emergency medicine, where she gained invaluable experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. However, her passion for dermatology grew as she saw the number of pets struggling with skin issues. This led her to pursue a dermatology specialty internship in Salt Lake City, UT, where she further honed her expertise in treating complex dermatologic conditions.
Her goal is to build lasting relationships with both her patients and their families while providing compassionate care in a low-stress, supportive environment. Dr. Heape is dedicated to improving the lives of pets, from the most common dermatologic issues to more complex cases, always striving to ensure the best possible outcome for each patient.
