Daniel Fickle, DVM

Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology

Dr. Dan Fickle earned his B.S. in Wildlife Sciences from Auburn University and went on to attend Auburn’s College of Veterinary Medicine for his DVM degree in 2012. He completed a rotating internship with Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a dermatology internship in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before entering his residency training in veterinary dermatology at Cornell University. Dr. Fickle earned Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) in 2017.

Dr. Fickle’s professional interests include dermatopathology, antibiotic resistant skin infections, and allergic skin disease of dogs and cats.

Fun Facts:

Outside of the office you can find Dr. Fickle in the outdoors with his family. They enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, boating and the beach. Dr. Fickle is also an avid fly fisherman and enjoys solo time on remote streams in the North Carolina mountains.
