Chris Lopresto, VMD

Dr. Christopher Lopresto is a native of western Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and earned his VMD degree in 2008. After completing a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery, he started working in general practice in the Philadelphia area and then in York. He joined PADS in 2020 to further his training in veterinary dermatology first as dermatology intern and then as a dermatology resident and completed his training in 2024. Dr. Lopresto is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, a member of the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Lopresto has a special interest in exotic and aquatic animal medicine. He is a certified aquatic veterinarian (www.petfishdoctor.com). He lives in Allentown with his wife, and daughter.
