Carlos Carvalho, DVM

Resident, American College of Veterinary Dermatology

Dr Carlos Carvalho received his degree in Veterinary Medicine in Brazil from Newton Paiva University in January 2020. He worked as a general practitioner for 3 years in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. He moved to the United States in 2023 and applied for the Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE) and went for his clinical rotations at the College of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Missouri. 

After his PAVE program, Dr Carvalho accepted the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) residency at the Animal Dermatology Clinic in Grapevine - Texas.
