Allison Kirby, DVM

Dr. Allison Kirby graduated from the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, she completed a one-year rotating internship at a large private practice in Santa Rosa, California, before beginning her dermatology residency program at Animal Dermatology Clinic - Tustin. She completed her residency at Animal Dermatology Clinic - Marina del Rey and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) in August 2009.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Kirby is active in the training of ACVD residents, has co-authored several book chapters in veterinary medicine and has been involved with numerous FDA drug studies.

Fun Fact:

Dr. Kirby graduated from a night culinary school program after finishing her residency. At home she has two dogs named Dashi and Cloud, several fish and millions of worms. Her passions outside of veterinary dermatology include organic gardening (which includes her worm bins) and spending time with her two children and husband.
