Wayne Rosenkrantz
DVM, Diplomate ACVD

Dr. Wayne Rosenkrantz graduated from the University of California Davis in 1982. After completing a private practice internship in Orange County, California, he joined Dr Craig Griffin for a residency training program in 1983. His program was combined with the Medical School at UC Irvine. Dr. Rosenkrantz obtained Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) in 1986. He helped to establish the first ACVD private practice certified residency program, after being the first resident trained at the Animal Dermatology Clinic.
Dr. Rosenkrantz is a co-owner of the Animal Dermatology Clinics of Tustin, San Diego, Marina del Rey, Pasadena, and Upland, CA as well as Marietta, GA, Louisville, KY and Indianapolis, IN. He is also a co-owner in many other related satellite practices associated with the Animal Dermatology Clinics. He actively sees cases in the Hawaii and Bakersfield and Los Gatos, CA. Dr. Rosenkrantz is a past-president of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) executive board and has been on past and current organizing committees for the World Congress of Veterinary Dermatology. He has served on the examination committees for the ACVD as well as the Australian Board examinations. Dr. Rosenkrantz lectures and teaches extensively in the United States and abroad, and has published numerous articles and book chapters on small animal and equine dermatology. His special interests include feline and equine dermatology, dermatohistopathology, canine alopecia, chronic autoimmune and allergic skin and ear disease management. He also received the ACVD Award for Excellence for outstanding contributions in veterinary dermatology in 2007.
