Rudayna Ghubash, DVM

Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology

Dr. Rudayna Ghubash is a 2001 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) in 2004 following completion of her dermatology residency at the University of Florida. She was the recipient of many outstanding awards for research and lecturing during her residency and since board certification has been the author of several veterinary textbook chapters and veterinary medical journal articles. She lectures at many national conferences and she has been a friend and mentor to many dermatology residents who have achieved board certification and continue to move veterinary medicine forward with their own work.

Dr. Ghubash loves all animals and is especially worried about the endangered ones. She hopes to continue contributing to the healing of the animal kingdom in a multitude of ways throughout her career.

Fun Facts:

Dr. Ghubash is grateful to have studied dance (tap, ballroom and ballet) as a child under the tutelage of her grandmother who was a dance teacher and WWII USO performer. Her love for movement continues to this day, but in the form of yoga, belly dancing and artistic (synchronized) swimming.
