Catherine Milley, DVM

Dr. Catherine Milley grew up in western Canada where she earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Calgary and went on to graduate from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Dr. Milley worked as a primary care veterinarian in Alberta for 7 years, initially in a rural, mixed large and small animal practice seeing patients in-clinic and on-farm, and then at a busy small animal clinic practicing medicine and surgery in St. Albert, AB. It was here that Dr. Milley discovered her passion for veterinary dermatology and decided to pursue a specialty career in the field.

Dr. Milley accepted a residency position at Animal Dermatology Clinic - Louisville in July 2013 and obtained Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) in 2016. She moved to Portland in 2017 and practices at Animal Dermatology Clinic - Portland. She is particularly interested in infectious diseases such as parasitic diseases and methicillin resistant Staphylococcal (MRSP) infections, as well as the diagnosis and management of allergic dermatitis in companion animals.

Fun Facts:

Away from work Dr. Milley enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. She loves to travel, bake and spend time outdoors, especially when it involves mushroom foraging!
