Animal Dermatology Group Announces the Acquisition of Animal Allergy Specialists

Expands Immunotherapy Operations and New Practice Locations in Las Vegas, Hawaii

Animal Dermatology Group, Inc. (ADG) completed its acquisition of Animal Allergy Specialists, Inc. (AAS) in October 2021. AAS specializes in the formulation of specialty allergen immunotherapy for pets. AAS also provides veterinary dermatology specialty care in Las Vegas, NV and the islands of Hawaii. This acquisition, combined with ADG’s existing immunotherapy and dermatology business will help grow ADG’s operations immediately.

AAS exclusively produces allergen immunotherapy for VARL’s (Veterinary Allergy Reference Laboratory) serum allergy testing results throughout much of the western United States (AK, AZ, CA, HI, NV, OR, WA). Professional veterinary consultations are provided by ADG’s dermatologists Craig Griffin, DVM, DACVD and Dr. Wayne Rosenkrantz, DVM, DACVD to assist veterinarians in selecting allergens to formulate the most appropriate immunotherapy for their patients. They also are available to answer questions on how to modify and adjust allergens to obtain the optimal immunotherapy responses. These operations will be combined within a new ADG division, Animal Immunotherapy Services (AIS).

In addition, AAS veterinary dermatology clinic locations in Las Vegas and the islands of Hawaii will become part of ADG dermatology specialty practices called Animal Dermatology Clinic, extending ADG’s reach into new target markets including Nevada, one of the fastest growing states in the country.
