Laura Kelley, DVM

Dr. Laura Kelley earned her DVM at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She practiced general veterinary medicine for 5 years, in a combination of private practice and military settings prior to beginning her veterinary dermatology residency at the University of Florida. Dr. Kelley achieved Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) in 2010.

Dr. Kelley joined Southeast Veterinary Dermatology & Ear Clinic in 2009 as an associate veterinarian and medical chief-of-staff in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she has practiced since. In 2019, she co-founded Southeast Veterinary Dermatology & Ear Clinic of Columbia (now Animal Dermatology Clinic Columbia).

Fun Facts:

Though the Carolinas have been her home for most of her adult life, Dr. Kelley has lived in 9 states and studied abroad in Mexico & England.

When not at work, Dr. Kelley’s favorite things to do usually involve spending time with family. Currently, her immediate family includes twice as many animals (6) as people!.  Dr. Kelley enjoys outdoor adventures and activities, music, literature, sewing and photography.
