Kristen Tobin, DVM

Resident, American College of Veterinary Dermatology

Dr. Kristen Tobin is a Massachusetts native, though pursued her higher education in Pennsylvania at the University of Pittsburgh prior to returning to Massachusetts for veterinary school. She graduated from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2019 and went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. She then worked as an ER and shelter veterinarian in DC during the height of the pandemic. After this she pursued additional internship training at Cornell University in Wildlife Medicine.

In July 2024, Dr. Tobin started her 3-year residency with the Animal Dermatology Clinic in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is excited to start her career in veterinary dermatology, where she hopes to increase the quality of life no matter the species by combining her passion for dermatology with her interests in wildlife and exotics.

Fun Facts:

In her spare time Dr. Tobin enjoys the outdoors whether that is camping, rock climbing, or hiking with her dog Jasvir. Her favorite holiday is Halloween, and she is down for a costume party any time of the year.
