Kain Masutani, DVM

Resident, American College of Veterinary Dermatology

Dr. Kain Masutani was born and raised in Hawaii. He attended Creighton University for his undergraduate degree, receiving his BS in Biology in 2015. Dr. Masutani went on to attend St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada and complete his clinical year at Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine to earn his DVM in 2019. His veterinary medicine studies included an externship with Wildlife Vets in Mpumalanga, South Africa, where he obtained hands on experience in wildlife medicine.

After receiving his veterinary medicine degree, Dr. Masutani practiced in Nevada and Oregon prior to completing a one-year rotating internship at Seattle Veterinary Specialist's, BluePearl in Washington. In July 2022, Dr. Masutani began his 3-year residency with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology at Animal Skin and Allergy Clinic in Lynnwood, Washington (now Animal Dermatology Clinic – Lynnwood).
