Dr. Danielle James graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2005. She then began work as an associate at a small animal hospital in Gainesville, Florida for two years where she continued to develop her interest in dermatology. Dr. James started her dermatology residency with Animal Dermatology Clinic in the summer of 2007 and achieved her Diplomate status in 2010. Her special dermatology interests are food allergy, infectious causes of cutaneous disease, ear disease and anal sac disease. In her spare time Dr. James enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
