Chris Reeder

DVM, Diplomate ACVD

Dr. Chris Reeder graduated, summa cum laude, from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. While attending Auburn University, Dr. Reeder received numerous awards which included the distinguished veterinary dermatology award, veterinary neurology award, Merck-Merial fellowship in genetic research, and numerous scholarships. Upon graduation, Dr. Reeder practiced small animal medicine/surgery in Louisville, Kentucky for 3 years. During this time, Dr. Reeder was able to further develop his interest in dermatology.

Dr. Reeder completed a residency in veterinary dermatology in 2008 at the Animal Dermatology Clinic in Tustin, CA and became board-certified. He is co-owner of Animal Dermatology Clinic Louisville and practices at several satellite locations. Dr. Reeder has published several articles both nationally and internationally and enjoys lecturing to local and national audiences on dermatology. He has served on ad hoc and credentials committees for the American College of Veterinary Dermatology.

Besides his academic interests, Dr. Reeder enjoys staying fit as a triathlete, cooking and kayaking.
