Before

“Furball” is a 2 year 4 month old, female, Holland Lop. Presented with a 2 month history of bilateral ocular discharge and redness. Skin culture revealed growth of Staphylococcus aureus. The tear duct of this rabbit were inflamed and with resulting tearing and discharge onto the skin that created an infection. The infection on the skin was treated with blueberry flavored Trimethoprim-sulfa. The eye discharge was treated and along with ongoing maintenance gentomicin eye drops.

After

Day 68 since first seeing Furball. She is currently the love and joy as the only family pet. She has free roam of the house and is litter trained.
