Before

“Sadie” was diagnosed with mycobacterial infection. Mycobacteria infections are caused by a special type of organism called Atypical mycobacteria which can create a number of different clinical symptoms including scale, draining nodules and hair loss. These organisms live in the deeper layers of the skin and can be very difficult to culture. Special stains and biopsies are often required to be able to diagnose this condition.

After

Hard to believe that this is the same dog! Coat has grown back and recovered well.
