“Taffy” came to us in April 2009 and was diagnosed with pemphigus foliaceus a disease in which the animal’s immune system develops antibodies in the blood that erroneously perceive the skin tissue as foreign and attack it.

After

One year later, Taffy’s condition is under control with medication and lab work to monitor her condition. Pustules have disappeared and haircoat is restored.
